In development. Anonymous Tip fixes so far, with certifications and a hardware rework planned.
Fixed
- Fix: The Anonymous Tip chip never actually cycled color. It was meant to shift through the hue wheel the whole time it was on screen, so it stood out from everything else scrolling past, but it shipped locked to a single amber that read as plain gold. All six color steps were being started at the same instant instead of one after another, so the last one simply won. The chip’s body now rides the cycle too, not just its border and halo, which is what makes the effect readable at chip size
- Fix: Anonymous Tip payouts now scale with your actual income instead of going stale. A tip was worth a fixed number of ordinary findings, but late-game earnings come from the sheer volume of findings rather than what any one of them pays, so the burst stayed around a few thousand dollars no matter how large your fleet got. A tip is now worth at least five minutes of your current rate, the same measure the critical bug’s jackpot already used. Payouts can only go up - early-game tips are unchanged
